Ruby red antique glassware

My antique ruby red glasses are some of my favorite pieces in my collection. Some of the glasses date back to the 1920s. I love the elegance and color they bring to a table; the wine glasses add a touch of romance.

My Vintage Wedding - 9/29/12

HAPPY NEW YEAR & welcome to our NEW BLOG!!! For the first post in 2013, I'd like to show you the beginning of Rusted Rose Vintage Rentals

My love for vintage china became more of an obsession after getting engaged to my husband Jacob. I began collecting vintage china, carnival glass, milk glass, mason jars, flatware and vintage decor. Each place setting at our reception was unique, each with a different plate and glass goblet. It was a great conversation starter and I was given tons of compliments! :)

On wedding day, I wore my mom's bead and pearl vintage shoes and my great-grandmother's pearl necklace. The accessories were the perfect details needed to make me a truly vintage bride.

My bridal party had DIY bouquets with a variety of peach flowers and my bouquet displayed peach and ivory roses.

I gifted each of my bridesmaids a pearl necklace, pearl bracelet, pearl earrings and a mother of pearl Pandora ring. Pearl jewelry was a gift for my flower girls too. It gave everyone a vintage touch. Although the bridesmaids had matching jewelry, they had mismatching peach bridesmaid dresses.

I didn't get the barn wedding that I dreamed of but we were able to have a photo session at a beautiful white barn nearby.

Our head table was peach and ivory with a variety of mason jars and vases. Each member of the wedding party had a pink depression wine glass at their place setting.

Burlap runners were on each of our guest tables. The centerpieces were mason jars wrapped with lace and a burlap heart along with a mismatched gold chalkboard frame displaying the table number.

Place settings included mismatched china plates, mismatched wine goblets in a variety of colors and mismatched flatware all brought together with a matching peach, fan-folded napkin.

Styling my own wedding and combining many unique elements made me realize how strongly I have a passion for  wedding styling.

My hope is to help brides bring their dream wedding to life by providing vintage china that will add character, charm and a unique touch to each guest table on their special day.
